Term of Service

By commissioning me, you are agreeing to the following terms.
Please read carefully before placing an order.

GENERAL

◆ Commissions are for personal use only unless commercial rights are purchased. "Personal use" means you can use the art for yourself. It does not include use on platforms for profit (e.g., Twitch/YouTube overlays, monetized channel art). Please buy commercial rights for these uses.
◆ My artwork may be used for personal display such as profile pictures, banners, posting on socials with credit, or printing for yourself.
◆ You may not resell or transfer the usage rights to any third party.
◆ AI and NFT use is strictly prohibited. My artwork may not be used for any AI-related purposes, including training, datasets, style extraction, or image-to-image generation. Doing so will be treated as a copyright violation.
◆ I reserve the right to decline commissions outside my abilities or for subjects I will not draw.
◆ You receive 4 free revisions in total (see the 'Revisions' part for details). Beyond this, a fee of at least $5 per revision (upfront payment only) will apply.
◆ Communication is important. If I do not receive a response within 1 week, I will proceed and deliver the artwork as is. In this case, you give up your right to free revisions for that stage.

PAYMENTS & FEES

◆ Prices are listed in USD, unless stated otherwise.
◆ All payments are upfront in full through the agreed platform.
◆ Chargebacks or forced refunds are strictly prohibited. Doing so will result in an immediate loss of all usage rights and being blacklisted.
◆ Payments to proposals should be paid fully within 2 weeks or will be declined.
◆ If a Commissioner wishes to buy commercial use after a commission, the prices will remain the same.
◆ Base prices apply to standard designs. Additional fees will be charged for complex characters (e.g., intricate patterns, many accessories) or detailed backgrounds.

COMMERCIAL USE & LICENSING

◆ If you wish to use the art for profit, a commercial license must be purchased.
◆ Commercial use includes use in games and applications (paid/free), crowdfunding (Kickstarter/Patreon), monetized streaming (YouTube/Twitch), promotional materials, or merchandise.
◆ Commercial rights are non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited to the specific project agreed upon. They do not grant you ownership of the artwork.
◆ The artwork may not be shared with third-party developers, publishers, or collaborators without my prior consent.

REVISIONS

◆ For ordinary illustration services, at the sketch stage, you have 2 free revisions. You may request changes to poses, composition, background or characters at this stage.
◆ For ordinary illustration services, at the color draft stage, you have 2 free revisions. You may request changes to coloring and lighting.
◆ Structural major changes (like pose or composition) requested after the sketch is approved will incur an additional fee (min. $5), even if free revisions remain.
◆ Any corrections due to my errors(e.g., missing design elements) are always free and do not count towards the total.
◆ Once the final delivery is approved, no further changes will be made unless due to errors on my part.
◆ For 'Surprise Me/Skeb' and 'Your Character Here (YCH)' services, no revisions are available unless there is errors on my part.
◆ For ordinary Chibi services, only 1 free revision at the sketch stage is available.

DEADLINES & DELIVERY

◆ Commissions usually takes up to 1 month. This may be extended depending on complexity, queue, health, or personal matters/emergencies.
◆ You will receive high-resolution flattened PNG files. Source files (PSD, CLIP, layered files) are NOT included unless explicitly stated and purchased as an add-on.
◆ I am not liable for delays caused by illness, emergencies, or circumstances beyond my control. I will notify you immediately if a delay occurs.
◆ If you have a specific deadline, please mention it in the request form. Rush fees may apply for tight deadlines.
◆ If you wish to skip the queue and be prioritized, the rush fee will be 30%-50% of the commission price.

REFUNDS

◆ You may cancel freely before the payment is made.
◆ Sketch Stage: A 90% refund is available.
◆ Color Draft Stage: A 60% refund is available.
◆ Final Stage: Once the final rendering has completed, no refunds will be available for any reason.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

I, the artist, retain all rights to the commissioned artwork. You are purchasing usage rights, not ownership of the artwork itself.I may use the artwork to:◆ Promote myself and my services.
◆ Post on social media and in my portfolio.Exceptions:◆ If an NDA was purchased, the artwork will not be posted or used for promotional purposes.

COMMISSIONER RIGHTS

You MAY:◆ Use the artwork for personal purposes only (unless commercial rights are purchased).
◆ Print the art for yourself.
◆ Post it on social media with credit to me '@Norika'.
◆ Make minor crops or resize the art for personal display use.You MAY NOT:◆ Use the artwork commercially without a commercial license and my written permission.
◆ Claim the artwork as your own, fail to credit me or remove my signature/watermark.
◆ Resell or redistribute the artwork.
◆ Edit, trace/redraw, or heavily change the artwork without my consent.
◆ Use artwork purchased for personal use in merch, streaming, or commercial projects.

By commissioning me, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the terms above.
